The Art Fix is an electronic venue of free and alternative promotion and distribution of art and literature. It is not a representing art agency. We don't charge fees for promotion; we don't sell, or get commissions for the sales of artwork, books, bobbleheads, washing machines, kitchenware or puppies resulting from our efforts.

The Art Fix is a creation of, and brought to you by Augusto Fine Art.

ARTIST STATEMENT
Art skills, like any other skills, are the product of constant practice. It took Vincent Van Gogh almost two years of producing hundreds and hundreds of pretty bad drawings before he wrote to his brother Theo that finally he felt there just might be a chance he'd become a decent artist. Isn't that encouraging?

THE AWARD WINNING
SONGS AND POEMS

WHY YAHOO'S SIT UP TREE'S.

In the wee small hours of morning,
when all head hunters are abed,
before the sleepy heads start yawning
and days lions must be fed.

In that space between all realms
where translucent moon beams shot with gold,
no stolid chain-mailed e'er vigilant helm,
tells us what we'd best leave or hold.

Here along Cancers crabbed fore shore
come the Clowns who lost their laugh,
knowing they can't hope for joy e'er more
yet all still seeking that higher path.

On that trail they meet God's fool
who tried to show them how to love,
but humans think they like to be mere tools
never ever, looking up above.

That's why Yahoo's sit up tree's
shitting on all that crawls below,
their clear disdain for birds and bee's
clearly tells us what all mortals know.
