ARTIST STATEMENT
The story of how I started painting is very amusing: in the Christmas of 1999 I wanted to make some new decorations because, between you and me, the ones we had in the house were horrible. So I took some hollow eggshells and made them into ornaments, which I hand painted with a set of children's temperas, and my friends went crazy for them. I ended up painting
more than 40 eggs, and then started to make cards and then some little paintings. After that, I was hooked, and I haven't stopped painting since.

The rest of my artistic development came with practice, and little by little I discovered my characters, who mostly looked like my friends and family. I started to paint reflections of life, always based on the everyday.

PAM WEBER

Dance with me (Acrylic on masonite) I confess(Acrylic on masonite)
ARTIST STATEMENT
Peaceful landscapes, colourful streetscapes, inviting interiors, and chairs with personality dominate my paper, canvas, tile or masonite board. My paintings tell a story, but the story told depends on the viewer.

I don't really know how to categorize my style; it's a culmination of all I have learned, applied and experimented with over the years.
The work is devoid of any angst. It possesses simple and appealing shapes, calmness of space, vibrant colours, a touch of whimsy, and an overall harmony.
