The Art Fix is an electronic venue of free and alternative promotion and distribution of art and literature. It is not a representing art agency. We don't charge fees for promotion; we don't sell, or get commissions for the sales of artwork, books, bobbleheads, washing machines, kitchenware or puppies resulting from our efforts.

The Art Fix is a creation of, and brought to you by Augusto Fine Art.

ARTISTS STATEMENT

On September 11, 2001, thousands of lives were lost and families shattered in the United States through no fault of their own. The event, although singularly unique in plan and execution is another in history’s long list of horrific disregard for the sanctity of human life. The 20th century that began with the genocide of 1.5 million Armenians in Ottoman Turkey, bequeaths its lust for power to the 21st century with seeming abandon. Lives lost through the careless misuse of power are conserved and sanctified against oblivion in this memorial piece.
