Philip French

Kate French

Stargazing (terracota)
ARTIST STATEMENT

If I had to analyse my work I would say that it is about movement, the moments before and after movement. I also hope that it conveys a feeling of hope, joy and love, all the emotions that help us triumph after all the sadness and madness we have created with our so-called superior intelligence.

Gypsy (Oil on Canvas)

ARTIST STATEMENT

Beauty, peace and harmony are the given prerequisites for doing what I do. Without these qualities in our lives, we are left with cynicism and indifference. We’ve had both in abundance over the last fifty years.

Kara L.C. Jones

Peacock (Henna, full hand)
Harp Chord (Acrylic on Canvas)
ARTISTS STATEMENT
Her subject matter is both earthly and ethereal, with the natural South Florida environment appearing as abstract landscapes of the subconscious. With her composition relying on texture, movement, and color, her paintings call for contemplation and meditation.
I have been doing studies of my freehand drawing for over 15 years. Depending on my interest and life circumstance, my drawing endeavors have changed and evolved. I have explored watercolor, anime, life drawing, doodling, scrapbook sketching, and others. Now, I'm looking at how my design drawings translate from paper onto the 3D surface of the human body during henna sessions which is most interesting!!
