In everyone's ears

Historic reading in some years
Civil disorder
Grassroots followings
Stand in line
Unemployment sky high
National security
The priority of the time
Economy improving
But are you standing in that line?
Hard to follow politics
When hunger inspires crime
Trying to make it right
One paycheck to impoverishment
Left homeless in a plight
Find daycare, schools and shelter
Unaffordable...but on your route
Mom's got to work
Can't be at home
Late bills, second car
That dreadful mortgage too

Especially on our youth

The Art Fix is looking for artists living or studying in the Greater Cleveland area that would like to be featured on our Cleveland Fine Art Connections series; and artists living or studying in Ohio to be featured on our Regional Fine Art Catalogue. We are also looking for artists outside the region that would like to network with regional artists and connect with local galleries and audiences. Outsiders will be featured in our Fine Art Network series.
We are looking for emerging and established poets, writers, painters, photographers, sculptors, glass artists, and designers willing to share a piece of their talent to enlighten the life of all of us and to showcase Cleveland art power. Local art galleries are encouraged to send images of the artists that they represent and/or opening night announcements.
A poem or/and passage of a short story will be paired to a visual artwork at every issue. Literature and artwork must be submitted electronically.
There is not limitation on the quantity of pieces to submit, or number of proposals by one artist. There is not deadline. However, The Art Fix reserves all the rights to select the literature pieces and visual artwork to be displayed, and the rate of distribution.
Featured artists will be linked to their websites or to a contact information web page. No fees or commissions will be charged to be promoted or as a result of any sales resulting from this promotion.
