ARTIST STATEMENT |

|
|
|
|
|
I have elicited inspiration from
my own far eastern culture in architecture and gardens as well.
In Japanese gardens, the sensibility of manmade forms fuses
with the natural. The use of and expression in stone in Eastern
and Occidental cultures differ in their expression. The juxtaposition
of the manmade and the natural elements from both the east and
west are elements I integrate into my sculpture. |

Augusto
Fine Art is looking for artists to be featured on our
electronic newsletter The
Art Fix .
We are looking for emerging and established painters, illustrators,
photographers, sculptors, glass artists, costume designers,
set designers willing to share a piece of their talent to
enlighten the life of all of us and to showcase their art.
There is not a limitation on the quantity of pieces to submit,
or number of proposals by one artist. There is not a deadline.
However, Augusto
Fine Art reserves all the rights to select visual artwork
to be displayed, and the rate of distribution.
Featured artists will be linked to their websites or to a
contact information web page. No fees or commissions will
be charged to be promoted or as a result of any sales resulting
from this promotion.

Artists, a non-profit organization, founded in 1889, is seeking
applications for membership from professional women artists
in all media. Professional women artists in the U.S. and Puerto

by jury from slides semiannually in March and September. NAWA
