The Art Fix is an electronic venue
of free and alternative promotion and distribution of art and literature.
It is not a representing art agency. We don't charge fees for promotion;
we don't sell, or get commissions for the sales of artwork, books,
bobbleheads, washing machines, kitchenware or puppies resulting
from our efforts.
The Art Fix is a creation of, and
brought to you by
Augusto Fine Art.

ARTIST STATEMENT
I do not subscribe to the notion that as an "Artist",
I *must* have an "Artist's Statement". Who I am
, where I was born, educated - or not, where I live, what
are my personal likes and dislikes, what do I look like, how
old am I, etc., etc., is of no importance.
The only thing that matters is what *you* - the viewer of
my images *feel* and *think* when you look at my work.

ARTIST STATEMENT
I have always been fascinated with the Nature
of the Universe as the ultimate expression of creativity
in its highest form. The camera is simply the tool that
enables me to capture a tiny fragment here and there, and
thus continually discover the wonder, mystery, and inherent
beauty that lies within everything. I'm drawn into the game
with Time and Light that enables me to experience the Timeless.
I go out empty, and let the moment fill me up. I never know
what my next image will be. I don't want to know.

Stars of Fortune, or Abduction
of Elephant (Mosaic Installation)
|
|
|
|
|
Once I gave my students an assignment to create
a painting with a summer theme, and a 5 year old boy told
me, "I want to dance this painting, Teacher could you
dance it with me?" I had never danced before, because
I move like an elephant, but I really danced for the first
time in my life with this boy. I learn a lot from children.

ABOUT THE ARTIST (By Jeff Carter)
When Greg Orduyan became the Moscow Golden Gloves
champion back in 1987, some wondered if the 16-year-old of
Russian-Armenian decent would pursue the dream of winning
an Olympic medal. Hardly.
As someone dripping with artistic talent, Orduyan, who first
picked up a paint brush at 3, had a much bigger dream
of coming to California and making it in the art world...

CALL FOR ARTISTS
Augusto
Fine Art is looking for artists to be featured on our
electronic newsletter The
Art Fix .
We are looking for emerging and established painters, illustrators,
photographers, sculptors, glass artists, costume designers,
set designers willing to share a piece of their talent to
enlighten the life of all of us and to showcase their art.
There is not a limitation on the quantity of pieces to submit,
or number of proposals by one artist. There is not a deadline.
However, Augusto
Fine Art reserves all the rights to select visual artwork
to be displayed, and the rate of distribution.
Featured artists will be linked to their websites or to a
contact information web page. No fees or commissions will
be charged to be promoted or as a result of any sales resulting
from this promotion.
For guideline information about this project e-mail to info@AugustoFineArt.com
