The Art Fix is an electronic venue of free and alternative promotion and distribution of art and literature. It is not a representing art agency. We don't charge fees for promotion; we don't sell, or get commissions for the sales of artwork, books, bobbleheads, washing machines, kitchenware or puppies resulting from our efforts.

The Art Fix is a creation of, and brought to you by Augusto Fine Art.

Angel (Oil on canvas)

ARTIST STATEMENT

The universe is inherently balanced, with equal shares of good and evil, truth and lies, strength and weakness. Since balance holds dominion over all things, survival does not always go to the fittest or to the strongest, as many believe. Often, true victory is bestowed upon those with access to an inner world of magic, where each soul possesses the ability to create a world where evil fails in it's quest for victims. In this inner world of childhood magic, evil is given little power to distort or to destroy and we are born knowing how to overcome and defeat the enemy.

Mairyann Wrentmore

ARTIST STATEMENT

The stories, myths and legends of ancient gods and goddesses are a major influence on my art. Every diety is defined by its own set of colors, animals, vegetation, culture, and skills. I use those symbols to characterize the essence of each god or goddess. Creating a new generation of portraits for mythic legends.

ARTIST STATEMENT

Like most artists, I start off my work with an inspiration. Inspiration is a very elusive thing. Absurd television shows, people, commercials, toys, cartoons, plays and movies that are nostalgic inspire me the most.
