The Art Fix is an electronic venue
of free and alternative promotion and distribution of art and literature.
It is not a representing art agency. We don't charge fees for promotion;
we don't sell, or get commissions for the sales of artwork, books,
bobbleheads, washing machines, kitchenware or puppies resulting
from our efforts.
The Art Fix is a creation of, and
brought to you by
Augusto Fine Art.

ABOUT THE ARTIST
Mastering drawing is one of the most important skills. It's
a necessity. Mastering all traditional techniques is an absolute
necessity. Otherwise, inspiration and talent are forced to
hide behind the alibi of mystifying abstractions or other
eclecticisms. Something has to Be, before it can be Abstracted
or Cube-sided.

| In
February 2004, The Art Fix project started with 250 art-related
contacts in my personal list. Today, The Art Fix campaigns reach
a targeted art-related audience of around 15,000 weekly. By
the end of 2005, The Art Fix's network is expected to reach
20,000-25,000 art-related contacts. To date, around 700 artists
and galleries have been promoted in The Art Fix campaigns. The
Art Fix project filled a promotional void and need of a large
art-related audience with a professional look, credibility and
an honest message "Promoting art for the sake of sanity,
happiness and art itself." However, the more we grow, the
more expensive and time consuming it gets to sustain this free
venue. |

ARTIST STATEMENT
imperfections is a collection of
prints created by wilderness photographer Martin Hawes and
haiku poet Ron Moss, with translations by Yoji Hashimoto.
The prints incorporate background art based on the photos,
in some cases digitally modified. In translating Rons
haiku, Yoji aimed to convey the flavour rather
than the precise literal meaning of the original English.

ARTIST STATEMENT
In my work, my goal is not to only capture the
visual. I seek to deconstruct the subject, exposing its thoughts
and feelings and those of its surroundings. Portraits should
not only reflect the image of a person but the essence of
their lives. This is the theme of my most recent portrait
series. The photographs depict individuals immersed in their
self-created environments.

Art Fix .
We are looking for emerging and established painters, illustrators,
photographers, sculptors, glass artists, costume designers,
set designers willing to share a piece of their talent to
enlighten the life of all of us and to showcase their art.

However, Augusto
Fine Art reserves all the rights to select visual artwork
to be displayed, and the rate of distribution.
Featured artists will be linked to their websites or to a
contact information web page. No fees or commissions will
be charged to be promoted or as a result of any sales resulting
from this promotion.
