The Art Fix is an electronic venue of free and alternative promotion and distribution of art and literature. It is not a representing art agency. We don't charge fees for promotion; we don't sell, or get commissions for the sales of artwork, books, bobbleheads, washing machines, kitchenware or puppies resulting from our efforts.

The Art Fix is a creation of, and brought to you by Augusto Fine Art.

ABOUT THE ARTIST

Born in the remote wilderness of the Alaskan frontier with the freedom of a nomadic lifestyle immersed in the arts. Bringing a refreshing unique self-taught techniques and painting philosophies. Willow believes that understanding colors and mixing her own colors brings her even closer to clearly communicating her visions. She encourages viewers to look closely at her works, and feels much of the beauty lies in the details created and in the clarity of vision she portrays.

In February 2004, The Art Fix project started with 250 art-related contacts in my personal list. Today, The Art Fix campaigns reach a targeted art-related audience of around 15,000 weekly. By the end of 2005, The Art Fix's network is expected to reach 20,000-25,000 art-related contacts. To date, around 700 artists and galleries have been promoted in The Art Fix campaigns. The Art Fix project filled a promotional void and need of a large art-related audience with a professional look, credibility and an honest message "Promoting art for the sake of sanity, happiness and art itself." However, the more we grow, the more expensive and time consuming it gets to sustain this free venue.

If you like THE ART FIX, please help support it!
You can now make secure online donations with your credit card through PayPal.
Gifts of all sizes will provide valuable much-needed support for this project. THANKS!

Andre Kupfermunz

ARTIST STATEMENT

Art is one of those words, like love, which means something different for every person using them. Over the years, like any one else, I have been present to many circumstances and situations. Some had me confused, some not. Over time, like anyone else, I did express these confusions through words and behaviours. Since 1988 Clay became my conduit of expression and I have not looked back since. Looking at my many faces, you have an access to my many confusions. I know them and I will, most likely, die with them! When they show up, I recognize them, acknowledge them and then move on with my life.

ARTIST STATEMENT

Why Dogs?
I never had children, so my dogs are my kids. Yea, I'm crazy about them. I choose homes based on how large the backyard is, if a doggie door can be put in, etc. Travel is sometimes out of the question because "what about the dogs?" I haven't taken to dressing them up yet, but who knows- if that perfect outfit comes around... They are my joy, my inspiration, and I couldn't imagine life without them.
