The Art Fix is an electronic venue of free and alternative promotion and distribution of art and literature. It is not a representing art agency. We don't charge fees for promotion; we don't sell, or get commissions for the sales of artwork, books, bobbleheads, washing machines, kitchenware or puppies resulting from our efforts.

The Art Fix is a creation of, and brought to you by Augusto Fine Art.

ABOUT THE ARTIST

The images here were taken in 2004 and 2005 and are part of my kaleidoscope series. I take images that stand alone and make them somewhat abstract by inverting and rotating them on top of themselves, creating a symmetrical design. Each is an unusual design, some looking like Persian rugs, some like stained glass windows, but upon closer inspection, pieces of the original photo become visible, such as a face, a hand, branches, flowers, leaves, etc. Each photo has a secret.

In February 2004, The Art Fix project started with 250 art-related contacts in my personal list. Today, The Art Fix campaigns reach a targeted art-related audience of around 15,000 weekly. By the end of 2005, The Art Fix's network is expected to reach 20,000-25,000 art-related contacts. To date, around 700 artists and galleries have been promoted in The Art Fix campaigns. The Art Fix project filled a promotional void and need of a large art-related audience with a professional look, credibility and an honest message "Promoting art for the sake of sanity, happiness and art itself." However, the more we grow, the more expensive and time consuming it gets to sustain this free venue.

If you like THE ART FIX, please help support it!
You can now make secure online donations with your credit card through PayPal.
Gifts of all sizes will provide valuable much-needed support for this project. THANKS!

ARTIST STATEMENT

My art and the view of art in general is like an open space there I do belong and exist. I receive a perception and sensibility throughout this space. This contains a challenge, to move on at my own path of individuality.

THE ART FIX

Augusto Fine Art is looking for artists to be featured on our electronic newsletter The Art Fix .

We are looking for emerging and established painters, illustrators, photographers, sculptors, glass artists, costume designers, set designers willing to share a piece of their talent to enlighten the life of all of us and to showcase their art.

There is not a limitation on the quantity of pieces to submit, or number of proposals by one artist. There is not a deadline. However, Augusto Fine Art reserves all the rights to select visual artwork to be displayed, and the rate of distribution.

Featured artists will be linked to their websites or to a contact information web page. No fees or commissions will be charged to be promoted or as a result of any sales resulting from this promotion.
