When a storm is coming, birds fly to the horizon, deer find shelter away from peaceful creeks and horses kick anxiously the boards of the barns. You look skeptically up at the calm sky wondering if the weatherman would be wrong again.

In times of trouble, when problems hit you in the face with the force of a hurricane and it is too late to wonder why you never see it coming while you pick up the pieces of your wrecked soul, you will candidly thank God for the silence in your backyard that allows you to think about your next step, for the beautiful hosta that has grown incredibly healthy lately and gives you so much relief and will curse the god-dammed noisy horse in the barn.

Above, a bewildered and tired God scratches his balding head and mumbles - " They don't get it. They don't get it. They never get it." Then, the storm hits again.

The Art Fix is looking for artists living or studying in the Greater Cleveland area that would like to be featured on our Cleveland Fine Art Connections series; and artists living or studying in Ohio to be featured on our Regional Fine Art Catalogue. We are also looking for artists outside the region that would like to network with regional artists and connect with local galleries and audiences. Outsiders will be featured in our Fine Art Network series.

We are looking for emerging and established poets, writers, painters, photographers, sculptors, glass artists, costume designers, set designers willing to share their a piece of their talent to enlighten the life of all of us and to showcase art power of this region.

A poem or/and passage of a short story will be paired to a visual artwork at every issue. Literature and artwork must be submitted electronically.

There is not a limitation on the quantity of pieces to submit, or number of proposals by one artist. There is not a deadline. However, The Art Fix reserves all the rights to select the literature pieces and visual artwork to be displayed, and the rate of distribution.

Featured artists will be linked to their websites or to a contact information web page. No fees or commissions will be charged to be promoted or as a result of any sales resulting from this promotion.
