Art Career Development projects are highly personalized. Our partnerships work best when the artist or organization has taken steps to set some preliminary objectives in advance of the first meeting or have gone through our One-on-One Coaching sessions.
As One-on-One Coaching, Art Career Development Projects are not unlike private lessons where your artwork and your career goals are the subject. We offer all the services offered in One-on-One coaching: evaluation of your portfolio materials, web and other promotional materials, help you pricing your work fairly, setting realistic goals and brainstorm different strategies to accomplish your goals.
Art Career Development projects go deeper and require a longer commitment (monthly or quarterly sessions) to develop an image and exposure in the targeted market. We will analyze the structure of your Web site and will help you use this tool to its potential, or get critical feedback on your existing site and help you redesign your Website and promotional materials. Your website portfolio may provide the only glimpse a gallery or juror has into your work. These materials have to be first rate. We will also provide critical feedback on the written materials that accompany your work, the quality of your images, and suggestions for improving the impact of these materials.
We will assist you with the writing and editing of your artist statements, show statements, catalogue essays, Web content and marketing collateral. We will make sure the tone and content of all writing are tailored to the needs of the audience.
Though we provide help to some truly emerging artists, those with a developed studio practice, a willingness to work hard between meetings and the ability to take critical feedback will get the most out of their partnership with us.
Pricing is based on the scope of the project and estimated time required to complete it.
