Drawing and Painting
201 Sessions

This is an unique opportunity to improve your drawing and painting technique with hands-on, step-by-step professional instructions in a studio environment. You will improve the basics, but also learn tricks of the trade that no one will ever teach you at a formal school setting. But the most important part is that you learn at your own pace the things that you would like to learn. You don't have to paint a pot of flowers when your interest is portrait painting. We will teach you  to improve your drawing based on what you are interest in painting.

Basic subjects include drawing exercises to solve painting issues, familiarity with diferent drawing and painting materials, also stretching and priming canvases, selection and use of basic tools, media and medium for acrylic, and oil painting, palette organization, and techniques to apply paint to create different kinds of textures and visual effects using direct and indirect painting methods.

New students should bring images or samples of their artwork to their first class. Students with no previous art training  are encourage to take one of our 101 sessions before getting in to this program.
