It is never easy to think, talk about war. It is even more difficult to create art about it without going to a dark place or making political propaganda. There is nothing beautiful or romantic about war. There are destruction and chaos and people getting caught in the middle of it.

All civilizations have sent their young to defend, to impose, to die for ephemeral principles and moral values, for greed and power. Their lives shortened, quickened, diverged, postponed, never the same. We, the lucky ones, watch from a distance and benefit from their sacrifice. This  series is about the lives of those who fight our wars.
